Lisa P. Stieren, FNP-BC
Lisa is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Triangle Vein Clinic, she worked as a primary care and women’s health provider in both private and public health and clinics in North Carolina and Oregon. She has also spent many years practicing as a Registered Nurse in Nephrology and in Obstetrics prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
As a provider, Lisa is qualified to examine, diagnose and treat patients, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, perform medical procedures, and provide education and health counseling to patients of all ages. “My role as an Advance Practice Nurse is to form a partnering relationship with my patients in managing their health, with consideration for the patient as a whole. I believe lifestyle plays a key part in the health of individuals, and patient education and the promotion of healthy lifestyle in my clinical practice is an important part of my work as a Nurse Practitioner.”
Away from Triangle Vein Clinic, she spends time with friends and family, including her three adult children, caring for her active little dog (and a few backyard chickens), and participating in church and local community. She enjoys reading, travel, home projects, gardening, and rural living.
About the Triangle Vein Clinic
Triangle Vein Clinic was founded in 1991 by Victor A. Medina, MD, FACS, as the area’s first specialized center for the treatment of venous disease.
Triangle Vein Clinic is a surgical practice specializing in cosmetic and therapeutic treatment of venous diseases including varicose veins, spider veins, and leg pain associated with venous complications. The goal of Triangle Vein Clinic – the area’s original vein clinic – is to provide patients with cosmetic and pain relief while treating venous disease before other complications develop.
